Le Causse de Gramat is a large limestone plateau at 350 meters high. Rocky outcroppings and meadows give it charm and uniqueness.

Here is the steep-sided gorge of the Vallée de l'Alzou (near Rocamadour) with its emerald green water, and the ever-so fascinating arid plateaus : landscape of stones, stunted downy oaks and junipers. The grass is kept in trim by the sheeps.
